About

I am a dedicated social work professional with a Master’s degree in Social Work and experience supporting children, families, youth, young adults, and adults through case management, crisis intervention, advocacy, and resource coordination.

At Prickly Pear Therapy, I serve as a case manager, helping individuals and families identify needs, access community resources, work toward their goals, and make progress within their treatment plans. I enjoy helping clients navigate challenges and connect with the support and services that can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Previously, I worked with YDI’s YouthBuild program, where I supported teens and young adults as they worked toward earning their high school diplomas and preparing for future careers. I helped participants explore their interests, establish goals, and connect with educational and employment opportunities, including pathways in construction and other career fields.

I have also worked in a correctional setting at the Los Lunas prison, where I assisted individuals during crisis situations and provided support during challenging circumstances. These experiences strengthened my ability to remain compassionate, supportive, and solution-focused while working with people from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences.

My passion for social work comes from helping people recognize their strengths, overcome barriers, and work toward goals that are meaningful to them. I plan to pursue social work licensure as I continue expanding my knowledge, skills, and ability to support the individuals and families I serve.

Outside of work, I value spending time with my children, traveling, and making time for meaningful experiences. My family, personal growth, and commitment to helping others continue to inspire both my personal and professional life.
